Berserk" (written by Kentaro Miura for Hakusensha's "Young Animal") is a timeless dark fantasy that has sold more than 55 million copies worldwide (as of 2022) and continues to excite the world since its serialization began in 1989. Ten years after its theatrical release, the film trilogy depicting the "Golden Age," the beginning of the great story, has returned to the TV series as a Memorial Edition in October 2022.

In the Memorial Edition, many famous scenes, including the popular "Bonfire of Dreams," from the original work, have been added as new scenes. In addition, music by Susumu Hirasawa and Shiro Sagisu has been provided as new accompaniment to the film.

Hundreds of existing cuts were also remastered and upgraded. The opening theme is the same as in the film version, "Aria" by Susumu Hirasawa, and the ending theme is the ballad "Wish" by Mika Nakashima, weaving it into a TV series that can only be delivered now.


STORY
A man who has lived a solitary life, believing only in his sword, meets a noble man on the battlefield. The young warriors Guts and Griffith. Griffith, with great ambition in his heart, wins Guts in a duel and brings him into the Band of the Hawk, a group of mercenaries led by Griffith himself.

With the mighty force of Guts, the Band of the Hawk overcomes many fierce battles, gaining each other's trust as warriors and finally rising to the ranks of the regular army of the Kingdom of Midland. However, for Griffith, this was only the first step toward the heights he had set his sights on.

Meanwhile, Guts begins to feel that his bond with Griffith is irreplaceable. One night, however, Guts hears Griffith's story of dreams and friends. ...... Guts, Griffith, and the Band of the Hawk, who have met and crossed paths on the raging earth, soon hear the footsteps of a terrible fate beyond human understanding.
